Filtronic recognised by London Stock Exchange
Filtronic is pleased to announce it was yesterday recognised at a London Stock Exchange (LSE) Market celebration ceremony. The event marked the company’s continued growth and recent commercial success, including its $68.1 million follow-on order from SpaceX.
Market Celebration Ceremonies are held to recognise significant milestones achieved by listed companies and provide an opportunity to showcase businesses that are demonstrating strong growth, innovation and market momentum. The ceremony saw CEO Nat Edington invited onto the LSE’s iconic balcony, joining senior representatives from the Exchange.
Filtronic’s invitation follows a period of significant progress for the business, underpinned by expanding opportunities in the space and defence sectors and a series of major contract awards. Most recently, the company announced a $68.1 million follow-on order from SpaceX for the supply of E-band solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs), supporting the continued deployment and expansion of the Starlink satellite communications network.
The follow-on order represents one of the largest contract awards in Filtronic’s history and further strengthens the company’s long-term relationship with SpaceX. It also highlights the growing role for UK-developed technology in next-generation communications infrastructure for space and defence.
Nat Edington, CEO, Filtronic, said:
“On behalf of everybody at Filtronic I’d like to thank the London Stock Exchange for recognising what has been a truly transformational period for the business. This is further testament to the progress we’re making and the confidence that leading global customers are placing in our teams”.
Over the past two years, Filtronic has strengthened its position as a leading supplier of advanced RF solutions, building on decades of engineering expertise to support customers operating at the forefront of satellite communications, aerospace and defence technologies.
