New Brand Identity to Reflect Next Phase of Growth

Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), a global leader in high frequency connectivity technologies, today unveiled its new brand refresh, reflecting its evolving role as a strategic technology partner for the world’s most demanding communications and sensing applications.

The refreshed identity follows a period of significant growth and strategic investment across all aspects of the business. Over the past two years, Filtronic has grown its workforce by more than 75% and strengthened its position as a key supplier to some of the biggest names in space and defence. It has also moved into its new headquarters and manufacturing facility at NETPark, designed to support more than £200 million in annual revenues.

The evolved brand better reflects the Filtronic of today: a changing organisation with growing ambition and momentum. Filtronic has evolved from a specialist RF engineering business into a strategic technology partner, supporting some of the world’s most demanding space, defence and critical communications programmes.

As the convergence of space, defence and communications continues to create new opportunities for innovation, performance and connectivity, Filtronic is playing an increasingly important role in helping customers deliver the next generation of high-performance communications and sensing across ground, air and space domains.

Nat Edington, CEO, Filtronic, said,

“Our new identity better reflects the business we are today and the direction we’re heading.

As the space and defence sectors continue to evolve, we see tremendous opportunity ahead. Our technologies already underpin some of the most demanding applications in communications, connectivity and sensing. Yet what really excites me is what’s still to come. I believe we’re still only in the early stages of this journey.”

The new brand identity is now live across Filtronic’s website and digital platforms. Next week, the company will take the refreshed brand to a global audience, unveiling it across a series of major industry events, including the International Astronautical Congress, SATELLITE Expo and European Microwave Week.
