Meet the new Filtronic Wireless sales team
Ready to take the world by storm and make changes to the global marketplace...
The Filtronic Wireless sales team has had a complete refresh in the last month, and we now welcome new experienced and talented staff, who are key to the next phase of growth for Filtronic Wireless.
Mikael Plahn has now taken overall responsibility for sales in Filtronic Wireless, and we welcome two key new sales executives, Whit Martin in the US and Frédéric Pillot in Europe.
Our new sales team brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the global telecoms and network operator markets to Filtronic Wireless.
Mikael Plahn - Filtronic Wireless Director of Sales
Mikael has overall responsibility for sales in Filtronic Wireless.
Bringing a depth of knowledge of the European operator market, Mikael has been working within telecoms for the over twenty years in different positions such as Global Account Manager (LGP), Sales Manager (Powerwave) and General Manager/MD (Exir Telecom).
"I have always been interested in telecom and to meet customers, create a relationships and make business. The opportunity given at Filtronic Wireless is very interesting. To work at a company with such a good team with a lot of experience and motivated personnel, the work we all do, by establishing our company to be a serious player among the largest companies on the market, will be a pleasant journey".
Whit Martin - U.S. Director of Sales
Whit joined Filtronic Wireless in September 2016 as the U.S. Director of Sales. Based in Dallas, Texas, Whit will be focusing on the North American markets.
Whit spent the first twenty years of his career in wireless telecom sales with companies such as Allgon, LGP-Allgon, Hitachi and CellMax Technologies; introducing a diverse platform of products into the North American market.
Frédéric Pillot - Account Manger
Frédéric joined Filtronic in September to look after the key accounts within the European operator network.
With twenty years of international experience in the telecommunications sector, Frédéric has recently worked as a sales engineer and project manager, focusing on technical sales and delivery of product solutions to mobile network operators.
Frédéric has previously also worked in research and innovation, evaluating and recommending new technologies and industrial developments.
