Filtronic attends Mobile World Congress 2017
It's the 27th February 2017 and Filtronic is at Mobile World Congress, ready to highlight the new technology developed in both of its business units, Filtronic Wireless and Filtronic Broadband.
Filtronic Wireless launches the ‘Next Generation Base Station Antennas’. Two new products will feature in this launch; Kodiak and Atlas.
Kodiak is the new 8-port quadband antenna, and Atlas the 10-port pentaband antenna. The highlighted features of these next generation antennas are the Integrated RET, 1.4GHz band for IMT, and an industry-leading narrow panel width and high gain.
As well as the new antenna products, Filtronic Wireless will show a number of items from the current portfolio of equipment sharing products and interference mitigation filters.
Filtronic Broadband has arrived with its next-generation E-band radio module, Morpheus - The Highest Performance ODU-Ready E-band Transceiver. Building on the market-leading performance and field proven quality of the previous generation module, Orpheus.
Further to the release of Morpheus, Filtronic Broadband also announces the release of its new E-band power amplifier, Cerus. Suitable for all E-band point-to-point applications, the Cerus booster amplifier can be easily integrated with Filtronic transmitter modules for extending effective range in high-capacity data links.
Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organised by the GSMA and held in Barcelona, 27 February – 2 March 2017. Filtronic can be found in Hall 7 on stand C71.
